The Garden Room is an small alteration of a family home, converting a large storage area into a second living space. The design connects the house to the garden allowing further intimacy with the garden. This is achieved by providing an internal passage from the dining room to the alternate living space and the addition of 2 glazed doors on the northern and eastern sides. We were engaged on this project for preliminary design to the building consent stage. The garden room is currently under construction. My role involved project lead, design delivery, design documentation.
